I am an EYFS teacher based in Sutton (Surrey), with a huge heart and passion for Mental Health and Wellbeing in children and adults alike. I started Chillax4Kids and Wellness Wednesday after seeing how Covid 19 effected pupils, teachers and parents. I realised the importance of helping children and adults recognise and regulate their emotions, instead of simply being consumed by them. By practising mindfulness regularly, children and adults are able to respond more consciously and calmly to challenging situations. I am really passionate about guiding children and adults in mindfulness so they have the opportunity to live a calmer, more mindful happy childhood in a frantic world. By teaching them how to look after their own mental health and wellbeing, will enable them to be happy and healthy throughout their lives, enabling children to thrive and grow into successful young adults. I also value the importance of mindfulness activities and affirmations and use them in every class to help the children develop a positive self-image as they start to find their place in this frantic world.
